EMC clinic chain’s Jan–Jun IFRS net profit jumps to 39.4 mln euros
MOSCOW, Aug 30 (PRIME) -- The net profit of United Medical Group CY, the manager of Russian private clinic chain European Medical Center (EMC), doubled on the year to 39.4 million euros in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Monday.
Adjusted revenue grew by 18.3% to 134.3 million euros, and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), jumped by 52% to 56.1 million euros. Operating profit soared by 63.7% to 47.3 million euros.
Capital expenditures of the company shrank by 37.6% on the year to 11.6 million euros in the period.
Net debt of United Medical Group contracted by 26.7% in the period to 100.9 million euros as of the end of June.
